Live It Up and Hit the Town
Whether you want a laid-back night by the beach or you’re more inclined to dance the night away, Ocean Isle Beach and the surrounding area have plenty of options for filling up your night with good times and making great memories along the way.During the months of May through September, Ocean Isle Beach hosts a free concert series in the parking lot of the Museum of Coastal Carolina every Friday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. It’s a fantastic way to kick off your night (and your weekend) with some great music from talented local musicians, all without having to break the bank just to have a good time.
If you’re looking for drinks with a fantastic view, Ocean Isle Fish Company Restaurant and Bar is an excellent choice for your evening outing. Open until midnight daily, you can take in beautiful views of the boats and waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the open-air deck of this establishment. The eatery also has a tiki bar on the upper deck, as well as live entertainment, daily sunset toasts, and quality drinks and food. There are plenty of things to do at Ocean Isle Beach!
For those who love to dance, the nearby area of North Myrtle Beach is home to a number of dance clubs. Spanish Galleon has a low cover charge of $10.00 and features dancing cages, DJs that play EDM and top-40 hits, and a spacious dance floor. 2001 Nightclub is dual-part nightclub with a classier side catering to live jazz music and a typical club atmosphere on the other side with EDM, hip-hop, and dance music. Finally, Duck’s Beach Club is half-restaurant, half-bar and dance club. A place popular with older crowds and those who enjoy shag dancing (a style of dance that originated in Myrtle Beach during the 1950s), the club also hosts live music and DJ-curated dance tracks.
