Conveniently located on Seaside Road, Tim’s Bagels is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and on Sunday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. The smell of fresh bagels will greet you the second you walk in the door. Although everything on the menu is worth trying, there are a few items you won’t want to miss.Bagels and Cream Cheese
The shop has twelve different varieties of bagels, all flavored to perfection. The best of the bunch is the salt bagel, which goes well with every cream cheese, and the blueberry bagel, which goes well with the honey, walnut and raisin cream cheese, or butter and jelly. The onion bagel also pairs well with the olive and pimento cream cheese. All the cream cheeses are made in house. The scallion cream cheese is the perfect partner for the garlic bagel, and the veggie cream cheese tastes great on the hearty pumpernickel.
Ocean Isle Breakfast Options
Tim’s Bagels offers some fantastic egg platters, including a rich and decadent cheese omelet that pairs perfectly with the home fries or grits and buttered bagel that comes with it. If you want to take your Ocean Isle breakfast to the beach, you may want to try a breakfast sandwedge, which contains one egg and your choice of meat and cheese.
Lunch
Tim’s Bagels offers a variety of sandwedges for lunch. Be sure to try the egg salad on a salt bagel or provolone cheese with all the condiments on an everything bagel. Whatever you might decide to eat, don’t forget to get a side of the creamy and crunchy potato salad or the tangy, flavorful pasta salad. You will want to wash it down with a Yoo-hoo chocolate soda, which is a hard to come by in some parts of the United States.
