Exciting additions to Summer fun in OIB

Can we get a round of applause for the Town of Ocean Isle Beach?

The town staff has been working hard to offer its visitors an incredible, memorable experience! They have added new activities for family fun for all ages.

First, the OIB Summer Market started May 1 and will run every Monday through September 11. This is organized by The Waterfront Markets in coordination with the town. From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each Monday you can peruse the offerings of local vendors and purchase artwork, produce, apparel, and more. For a list of vendors, click here.

Next, the town's recreational department has added Movies at OIB on Tuesday nights! Each Tuesday from June 13-August 22 (except for July 4) visitors and locals alike can screen a family-friendly movie for free beside the Museum of Coastal Carolina. For the line up of June movies and more info,

Lastly, the OIB Scavenger Hunts are back. Figure out clues to visit the correct OIB businesses and collect prizes! Then enjoy hotdogs and popsicles at the Community Center, all for free!
